TiE Ottawa is part of the TiE Global, the largest entrepreneurial organization in the world, with 62 chapters in 19 countries. TiE Ottawa has been active for over 18 years, supporting thousands of entrepreneurs by encouraging and fostering entrepreneurship. TiE’s strengths lie in our ability to act locally & tap into the global TiE network to augment local resources and mentors. With monthly networking events, including TiE Institute – a forum for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs to gain skills needed to run a successful business, TiE create regular opportunities for member entrepreneurs to connect in person and our flagship annual event, TiECon Canada, brings speakers from all over the world & reinvigorates the local ecosystem.

“First of all, an experience where there is a freedom to express yourself professionally in an environment where people around you are also willing to grow and learn is an empowering experience in itself. TiEConnect basically created a channel for me to network and connect with people in the industry in terms of overall growth and perspective rather than just looking at it as a job seeking platform.
